The vehicles carry a $1000 or $1500 deductible, pending the incident, for collision and comprehensive. A $1000 or $1500 security deposit must be authorized on a credit card or paid by check/cash at departure. Upon the return of the vehicle in the same condition as it was received and not involved in any accident claims, a check will be refunded and mailed to the address on file. Credit card authorizations are held for 10 days and then automatically removed. If rental lasts longer than 10 days, credit card is re-authorized. All refund transactions are done on Friday or Saturday following your return. Any guest that is involved in an accident will have their deposit held until the accident claim is closed. Claims that are less than the deposit amount will have the difference refunded to the guest upon closing of the accident claim. Our insurance does not cover liability for loss of personal property, nor does it cover costs for accommodation, transportation or replacement of vehicle if the vehicle is stolen or should an accident occur that makes the rented vehicle inoperable. In these situations, and depending on availability, a new, signed, rental agreement must be in place before a replacement vehicle is provided. Accidents must be reported immediately and be accompanied by a written accident report and police report or file number.
Guests will be covered in the event of a mechanical breakdown that requires more than 48 hours for repair of the vehicle to be completed. The company’s responsibility is limited to the refund of the daily gross rate, or portion thereof, if the breakdown repair is longer than 48 hours. The mechanical breakdown reimbursement is not valid in the case of an accident or stolen vehicle. If RV needs towed due to an accident, towing charges will not be covered and guest will incur this cost. Radio, entertainment center, TV/DVD if applicable, back-up monitor, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and appliance malfunction are not regarded for the purposes of this clause as rendering the vehicle in mechanical breakdown and do not entitle the guest to a reimbursement. Special note on air conditioners: A/C units will freeze up if operated under extremely high temperatures and are not subject to refunds if this occurs.
