Labor Day marks the end of summer, but there’s still time to enjoy warm weather and sunny skies before winter sets in. Fortunately, there are many destinations within driving distance that are perfect for a two- or three-night stay in an RV, from state parks to amusement parks to the parking lot of your favorite baseball team.
Our family’s favorite Labor Day destination is also one of the most popular vacation destinations in Ohio: Mohican State Park. Mohican State Park is located in Ashland County, OH, a short 1.5-hour drive from NBRV. Comprised of 1,110 forested acres with 5 miles of the Mohican River running through it, this state park is Ohio’s finest and treasured for its wealth of natural beauty and outdoor activities. Hunting, fishing and hiking are all available to visitors of Mohican, as are good times, amazing views, and happy memories.
RVs are welcome at Mohican State Park with over 150 sites available, 33 of which offer electric, water and sewer hook ups. These sites with full hook ups cost only $39 per night ($31 for electric only), so you can stay the entire three-day weekend and not break the bank.
The Labor Day package is all-inclusive and covers roundtrip mileage, rental nights and generator use for this specific event. The package also includes early pick-up times and late drop-offs, permission for additional drivers, post-cleaning (interior, exterior and holding tanks), as well as final fuel and propane refills.
Estimated pricing begins at $1,200 for up to five nights and varies depending on distance, party size and options. Email email@example.com or call 440-282-5600 for an estimate.
